Raine Square best poke bowl

Raine Square best poke bowl

Who has noticed the new craze over Poke Bowls, it’s like the new black.

Poke Bowls are like a perfect macro eating out-meal, healthy clean protein using raw fish or tofu, fresh salad and a serving of rice.

I first became obsessed with poke bowls when I lived in New Zealand back 2 years ago. A friend introduced me to this concept, knowing how health conscious I am about what I put in my body. Can make life a little more challenging when eating out.

I will say I have had some terrible poke bowls so don’t be fooled they are not all good.

However, a few weekends ago I was in food heaven when pounding through the Fremantle markets I stumbled across a cute little pop up store serving poke bowls. Hand on the heart in my top list of best meal. A poke bowl that was value for money, beautiful rainbow salad unlike some places I have tried they are limited with greens, great portion of protein and not an overload of rice, very balanced and exploding with flavour.

I took it to the test to see if this was only a fluke, the next I hit up the newly opened Tokyo Station Japanese outlet in Raine Square.

Fully equipped making fresh poke bowls daily along with amazing Japanese takeaway, attached is even a little side stall selling authentic Japanese imported products like frozen ice-cream buns. Which of course I needed to try. No regrets! All about balance right.

Next time you are around the new Raine Square complex in the city, head into the food court and do yourself a favour and try a poke bowl at Tokyo Station also great value for money.
