my wife ordered the duck liver pate as an entree and raved about it..i'm not a pate man myself, she ate it all so i guess it must have been good..for mains she had the chicken breast, a large serve, and i can vouch for the quality and taste as i tried it myself..next time i think i will order it myself..she then had the lemon whatever, another large serve, which was very refreshing on the palate and followed this with a decaf latte..a big effort on her part overall, so the total meal must have been good..
i ordered the rib eye on the bone..i wasn't disappointed although my idea of "medium" and restaurants' idea seem to be slightly at odds..i thought it was more on the side of rare, but other than this it was tender, tasty and filling..
no complaints..pleasant and attentive without being intrusive
very nice decor..shiny grey and white tiles..black, grey and silver tables and chairs, red booths and lounges..very smart with Arnotts factory ceilings..a mixture of inside and out..overall creates a good first impression
Overall:
we were very happy with the quality of each of the dishes we ordered..i think i need to re-assess my ordering of steak from "medium" to "medium to well done" as i guess i'm out of sync rather than the restaurants..Granitas is a bit out of the way for us living in East Perth, but the quality of the meal with the use of the VIP Card made the trip very worthwhile..we'll go again on that experience for sure, probably for lunch in the sun next time..
I had the soft shell crab and it was delicious. The coffee was also fantastic, some of the best. The cake was stale though, which runined, what was otherwise a perfect evening.
Great service although the male wait person was more interested in entertaining us as though he was on his own personal stage instead of letting us enjoy our meal in peace.
A stylish cafe, that was very clean & inviting, although, an overpowering smell of perhaps salami for the first half hour. On this occasion it was raining, and it was very cosy despite the weather.
Overall:
An enjoyable place for a light meal. Their crowning glory is their coffee. I haven't dined their since but have consumed many a take away latte :)
Overall:
Fantastic.........great food, great service and good location........an absolute pleasure to dine at and leaves many of the so called "Gold Plate" restaurants in their wake......nothing is too much and to have competent staff with a sense of humor is such a joy when hospitality staff service standards in WA are increasingly dire!....Thoroughly recommended.......bring your friends
Overall:
What a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Everything on the menu looked divine, so it was hard to make a choice. I chose the duck - it was terrific. Three of us had different meals, and all were brilliant. I can't wait to go back for dinner and try some more of the menu delights.
Overall:
We have not been here for quite a while and as our favourite pizzeria was full decided to try it again.
Just had a special of the day, fish (cobbler) and chips, and it was excellent, very tasty and served hot.
No complaints about the service, it was very, very good.
Being in an old biscuit factory the very high ceiling in the light and airy main dining area helps to keep the noise down, a pleasant venue for a relaxed Sunday lunch.
Overall:
wonderful lunch menu, fresh , well presented meals, value for money, service excellent, well worth a visit for a relaxed long lunch.
