Brauny Heads to RiverBank Estate It’s been a while since our last review, but this one was well worth the wait! Last Sunday Bree and I ventured out to the Swan Valley with our friends Trent and Amanda. Trent used to play for West Coast, and we still keep in touch and try to catch up as much as we can with our busy schedules. He is now studying to become a wine maker, so the restaurant was in the right region for him! For entrée Bree ordered the Fritto misto of local king prawns with aioli dipping sauce and salad leaves. She said they were very tasty and a good size for an entrée. The presentation was impressive as you can see from the picture. Myself, Trent and Amanda went with the barbequed baby octopus tossed in RiverBank Estate chilli jam. This was a tough choice for me as I’ve never really had baby octopus before. Well... I’m glad I tried this dish. It was amazing. The octopus was extremely tender and the chilli jam marinade was delightful. Trent and Amanda were also impressed, needless to say it didn’t take long to down that dish! Read the full review with accompanying pictures |
